February, 2008….. Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Amanda Andruzzi, CHC, AADP, knows what it’s like to not truly feel your best! Like we all do when we are not feeling well, she visited a variety of medical professionals to help address her chronic fatigue syndrome, her recurring urinary tract and bladder infections, anxiety, depression and her never ending low energy level. Although she took the medicine prescribed and visited all the specialists suggested to her, she still didn’t feel her best. It was not until she decided to become proactive about her health did things change and she started to feel the best she ever has.

Amanda wants you to benefit from her past experiences and the training and certification she received from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and the CE program at Columbia University so that you get the best advice and resources out there to live an energized and passionate life.

Symptom Free Wellness will help you improve your eating habits by choosing and preparing better foods, help you understand your cravings, and teach you about food binges and how to deal with them naturally.   • Sugar Blues – DO YOU CRASH EVERYDAY AROUND 3 OR 4PM AND GO FOR COFFEE AND SUGAR? This workshop discusses the facts about sugar, myths and how sugar really affects our health and chronic diseases that can be attributed to sugar. Sugar addiction and ways to help will also be covered as well as natural sugar alternatives and great recipes and ways to get the sugar out.
  • Spring/Seasonal Detoxification – Spring is seasonally the time to detoxify the body, we will discuss different detoxification methods, light and more extreme as well as foods naturally occurring in spring that will aid in the process.
  • Eating Seasonally/Eating for Energy – Discussion about different foods for different seasons and the benefits of eating seasonally. Weight Loss, Improving Energy Level, Animal Protein and Dairy will also be discussed.
  • Digestive Wellness – The importance of a healthy digestive system will be the focus of this talk. Detoxifying, Nutritional Support, Cleansing Herbs and common diseases such as IBS, MS, Chron’s Disease, Celiac’s Disease, Candida Albicans, and Leaky Gut Syndrome will all be touched upon as well as current chronic diseases and how they are diet and lifestyle related.
