  1. No more Family Style Serving. Dish up the food away from the table onto each plate. Keep extra food away from the table so people have to think about taking more food.
  2. Keep salad or fresh vegetables on the table. People tend to eat more of what is set in front of them. Other bowls of food should be away from the table.
  3. Use placemats as they help define your territory.
  4. Serve your drinks in fancy glasses and use colorful plates, preferably smaller ones so your plate looks more full than with a big plate.
