THE PROBLEM: Soil Depletion and Our Food Today

“Minerals in the soil control the metabolism of cells in plants, animals and man….” “Diseases are created chiefly by destroying the harmony reigning among mineral substances present in infinitesimal amounts in air, water, but most importantly, soil.”
Dr. Alexis Carrel, 1912 Nobel Prize Winner, Medicine

During World War II, airplanes dropped bombs that destroyed everything beneath them. Those bombs contained nitrogen, phosphate and potassium, the same three ingredients found in most modern fertilizers. While less explosive, today’s synthetic fertilizers have been just as deadly to the soil as those bombs dropped from the sky years ago.

The 1992 Earth Summit in Brazil reported soil depletion is epidemic worldwide.
The U.S. tops the charts with 85% soil depletion.

Modern cultivation practices have left us with sick soil, soil lacking in macro- and micronutrients, as well as trace minerals required for health. Without these nutrients in plants, the people and animals who eat those plants cannot be well. Our modern cultivation process has literally replaced the once healthy “Circle of Life” with a “Circle of Sickness”.

And so, even those who try to eat well, exercise regularly and avoid unhealthy foods and snacks, may still not feel healthy and, even worse, may actually be unwell. Even those who are overweight have been shown to be undernourished.

The Earth Summit Report from Brazil was completed in 1992. Conditions have not improved since then.

What health challenges do you and your family face already?

Today’s health problems:

Cancer rates have exploded from 1 death in 20 in 1910, to 1 death in 3 by 2006. One in 3 Americans will get some form of cancer in their lifetime and 1 in 4 will die from it.

Diabetes Type 2 (adult onset) has exploded by 600% in just the last generation. Children are now starting to present with Type 2 diabetes at an early age.

Heart disease deaths went from obscurity at the turn of the 20th century to the #2 cause of death. For 50% of all heart attack victims, the first symptom is sudden death.

Stroke moved from obscurity to the #3 killer disease and the #1 cause of disability.

Auto-immune disorders like Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia have grown explosively in the last 25 years

Over a 10-year period, the potassium level in oats and buckwheat dropped by two thirds. That means you need to eat three bowls of oatmeal to get the same potassium as one bowl gave you ten years ago.

In the fifty years between the 1940s and 1990s, nutrient values for protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, riboflavin and ascorbic acid declined in at least 43 garden crops.

A Solution: Common Sense

President John F. Kennedy,
in a message to Congress in March, 1961, said “Knowledge of the oceans is more than a matter of curiosity. Our very survival may hinge upon it.”

In the early 80’s, Wayne Hillman turned to the oceans in order to save his wife’s life. Sick since the late 70s with what the doctors termed chronic anemia and very premature menopause, Gerri Hillman’s health was spiraling downward. Daily headaches and chronic fatigue left her losing weight, dangerously thin. Desperate to help his wife, Wayne remembered reading years earlier about the tremendous health benefits of sea vegetables. Later research would reveal that people living off the coast of Japan had the highest rate of centenarians (people who live to be more then 100 years old) and the lowest rate of chronic disease, largely because 25% of their diet consisted of sea vegetables.

Together with a formulator, he created a liquid supplement combining aloe vera and sea vegetables that was up to 98% absorbable. Gerri drank it; and her health returned quickly after years of illness.

With such amazing results after such a long period of struggle, Wayne and Gerri realized they had something very special to offer, and began introducing this special formula to the health care field. For the first twelve years their liquid aloe and sea vegetable formula was available through their company “Doctors Signature,” and sold only through health care professionals. During that time thousands of these health care professionals used and recommended Life Force products to their patients.

However, during the mid-1990s, Wayne decided he wanted to reach more people and looked at other marketing methods. Confident in their product, the Hillmans created Life Force International, and chose word-of-mouth marketing as a way to reach a larger group of people. It was the same liquid sea vegetable and organic aloe vera formula that helped Gerri get well, that they introduced as their very first product. It was called Body Balance, and is still the flagship product of the company.

The sea vegetables in Body Balance are harvested from the pristine waters of the northern Pacific Ocean, where scientists believe the Earth is renewing itself, where whales bring their young after birth. Acting like sponges, the nine types of sea vegetables efficiently absorb the combination of nutrients and rare-earth

elements circulating there in the ocean. Some of these nutrients are no longer readily available on land. When combined with the inner leaf of cold-processed aloe, also known from ancient times as a powerful medicinal plant, a powerful synergy is created that contributes immensely to human vitality and wellness.

SO — Common sense asks,

Why haven’t we been told about this problem?

Common sense answers,

Even with the best foods, our bodies are still hungry for nutrients.  What is the best, most absorbable source for those nutrients? The best of Land and Sea: the aloe and sea vegetables found in Body Balance from Life Force International

SO — With disease spiraling out of control ARE YOU READY TO BE WELL
