It has always been said that sleep is refreshing and good for health, but new studies show that perhaps  it is not always the case.

According to research conducted by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, postmenopausal women who sleep too much may increase the risk of stroke. But how much is too much? The investigation revealed that those women who slept nine hours or more showed a 70 percent higher risk to suffer a stroke than those who slept only seven hours. But experts admit that they still do not know why this happen.

If because the dream was very agitated, or any other number of reasons … the reality is that we do not know, “said Dr. Sylvia Wassertheil-Smoller.

Therefore, control your sleep, sleep a little less, and you will live more.
