Vitamin C for diabetes

A study conducted by the Institute of Metabolic Science in Cambridge, England, over 12 years among 22,000 healthy men and women revealed that those with higher levels of vitamin C in their blood showed a risk 62 % lower for diabetes.
This valuable vitamin found in fruits and raw vegetables, especially citrus fruits and leafy greens. So to stay healthy and free of the disease increases this fruits in your daily diet: guava, kiwi, mango, pineapple, orange, melon, strawberries, berries, peppers, tomatoes, Brassicaceae (vegetables from the cabbage family) and spinach.
