China prohibits the electroshock therapy to cure Internet addiction

The Health Ministry announced the ban after discovering this treatment at a clinic in the coastal province of Shandong, after finding “some dangerous factors in the use of electroshocks.
A group of experts conducted a study on this type of stress treatment in its conclusions were that they believe it is not very reliable and who are unsure of its effectiveness.
China says that the country had more than four million Internet addicts, and that 14 percent of Internet users Chinese adolescents suffering from this evil.
